Steel Grits
Steel grits are manufactured in conformity with standards IS-4606/1983, SAE-j827, BSS & DIN.
Three types of grits as under -
1) GP cast steel grit with normal hardness ranging from 47-52 hrc. The edges diminish with time
2) GL cast steel grit with hardness ranging from 53-58 hrc. The edges diminish with time and become round after few operations
3) GH cast steel grit with hardness ranging from 59-63 hrc. Used for marble & granite cuttings and finishing. Being hardened, the edges remain sharp through- out the process and for a longer time
