The steel shot is made of selected raw material scrap, added with rare metals and the best proportion alloy, and transformed into steel particles through electric furnace melting and modern equipment production. After multiple electric heating treatment and automatic screening, its chemical composition and particle size are strictly controlled in the process of forming steel particles from liquid metal, so as to ensure that its mechanical properties meet various purposes. Each production link has the strictest quality management. The steel shot produced has strict internal organization, is not easy to be broken, has uniform particle size distribution, has appropriate hardness, strong impact resistance and long service life.

According to the work requirements of the automobile manufacturer, the steel plate and some castings used need polishing, but the strength of the steel plate and the original appearance cannot be damaged. The appearance of the castings should be clean and beautiful. Because auto parts are not very regular, it requires different polishing machines to complete. The shot blasting machines to be used include: drum type, rotary table type, crawler type and through type shot blasting cleaning machines. Different machines deal with different workpieces.

Steel shot is widely used for descaling and derusting of steel workpieces before coating. In this case, centrifugal shot blasting equipment is often used. The ball shape and small hardness make the steel shot not cause great wear to the equipment. Steel shot is also widely used in the foundry industry. When the workpiece is removed from the mold, the sand on the workpiece surface is removed with steel shot.

Melt high-quality molten steel, and then spray it with high-pressure water spray gun to form steel shot. The formed steel shot is reheated to homogenize, and then quenched. The quenched steel shot is dried and reheated and tempered in the furnace to achieve appropriate hardness. The tempered steel shot is screened into a grade conforming to sea standard through mechanical screen for shot blasting equipment.
